政策与倡导在推动推拿疗法成为主流医疗保健不可或缺的一部分，获得必要的制度认可方面发挥着至关重要的作用。虽然推拿疗法在中国医疗保健体系中已得到广泛应用，但在其他国家，由于缺乏监管框架、保险覆盖和正式的行医途径，推拿疗法往往未得到充分利用。该支柱旨在与政策制定者、卫生部、监管委员会和国际卫生组织合作，确保推拿疗法被正式认可为安全有效的治疗选择。计划开展的活动包括：为卫生政策提供依据；支持制定培训和实践的监管框架；以及与世界卫生组织等组织开展对话，将推拿疗法定位于整合医学战略之中。通过与医疗保健管理人员、专业机构和患者权益组织合作，这项工作将使推拿疗法的普及率更高，扩大保险报销范围，并为推拿疗法与物理疗法和脊椎按摩疗法等既定疗法并列，建立合法性。
