Aims & Scope

The International Journal of Tuina Therapy: Evidence, Practice & Innovation (IJTT) provides a platform for researchers, practitioners and clinicians to share their knowledge, experiences and research findings on Tuina therapy and its applications in disease and wellness. The journal focuses on both theoretical and practical aspects of Tuina, highlighting its applications in disease prevention, clinical treatment, rehabilitation, and overall health and wellness. By promoting interdisciplinary dialogue and evidence-based research, IJTT aims to advance the development, standardization, and global understanding of Tuina therapy.​​

IJTT publishes articles that focus on, but are not limited to:

• Original research articles (randomized controlled trials)
  • Preference for RCTs with objective outcomes (e.g. MR elastography, biomarkers, etc)
• Systematic reviews/Meta-analyses
• Preference for PRISMA-adherent reviews
• Mechanistic/physiological studies
• Tuina in Integrative clinical practice
  • Tuina in Oncology; Tuina in pediatrics, etc.
• Clinical practice guidelines
• Case series
• Physician papers/commentaries by international experts
